krups filter coffee maker

Is it possible to make a good cup of coffee with regular coffee?

I have a Krups coffee maker with 10 cup water filter in it. I bought Dunkin, Starbucks, etc. and still can not get that taste like they do. I followed instructions on the bags to the extent that the ratio of grounds to water. I would like advice or assistance. Thank you!
